The Radiation Treatment Center

  • Join us as we build a new Comprehensive Cancer Center, scheduled to

open August 2022.

excellence in treating more than 50 cancer types, including gynecologic,

breast, colorectal, lung, brain, blood and bone marrow, and prostate

malignancies.

  • Our team of experts works together to create individualized cancer

treatment for every patient and supports patients every step in their

journey, from screening and diagnosis through treatment and survivorship.

  • One of the largest cancer care providers in Maryland, with plans for

continued growth to serve our community.

  • Reports to the Vice President, Pharmacy & Therapeutics, provides mission focused care in an open, friendly and collaborative environment.
  • The Director, Radiation Treatment Center provides for the efficient operation and coordination of the Radiation Treatment Center in accordance with applicable regulations and established professional and department stan
  • dards and procedures.
  • Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Center to include fiscal management, human resource management, supply chain management, customer satisfaction, continuous quality improvement and the advancement of the strategic goals and objectives of the Center and the Cancer Institute.
  • Manages a highly skilled team of cancer specialist second to none.
  • Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with others, including managers, directors, external constituents and other providers.
  • Prepares and manages operating budgets to meet organizational goals and objectives.

Required

What you will need:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or school of radiation therapy.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences. Masters Degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a managerial role in a radiation or cancer center.
  • Computer skills to include data management and productivity applications.
  • Skill in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse or Current licensure by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • BLS certified within the probationary period.
