Director Product Management (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

We have been building a Product Management Team to ensure that our cutting-edge Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform remains best-in-class and stays ahead of the market. Jedox is looking for an experienced and proven Product Leader for this team. You will be responsible for leading the vision, direction, and overall success of the Jedox platform

Location: Europe. The successful candidate must be available to travel (approx. 20%) – usually to Freiburg, Germany.

In this position, you will:

• Lead, develop and grow a team of 6 highly skilled Product Managers.
• Drive growth of the Jedox platform by continuously iterating and improving the product experience.
• Work with the Executive Team and other Product Leaders to drive transformational change and agility throughout the Product Organisation.
• Coach the Product Managers to drive end-to-end feature delivery.
• Manage the overall product strategy and vision, ensuring there is synergy across the different product areas and teams.
• Develop and own the Product roadmap.
• Meet with customers, users, prospects, and partners to perform product discovery and to communicate the Jedox product vision, product roadmap, and competitive differentiation.
• Maintain a strong understanding of relevant technologies and competitive solutions.
• Work closely with Product Marketing to ensure the world hears about (and understands) our awesome product.

Your Profile

• You have a minimum of 8 years’ experience of Product Management, of which at least 4 years have been spent leading product teams.
• Experienced in Agile Frameworks, especially Scrum and agile, cross-functional delivery teams.
• You have led transformational change within organisations.
• Proven experience of leading within a SaaS company.
• Experience of working with geographically distributed teams.
• Experience in the following areas will be an advantage.
• EPM products such as Jedox, Board, Adaptive Insights (Workday), Anaplan, Oracle EPM Cloud, Planful, SAP Analytics Cloud, IBM Planning Analytics, etc.
• Business Intelligence, Reporting and Analysis
• First class “Soft Skills” are a must. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are important.
• Ability to engage in and support your team in technical conversations. Lead discussions, manage conflict and influence decisions.
• You demonstrate efficiency in design, taking an empathetic approach to the user.
