The Spend team comprises three product teams – Emburse Spend, Emburse Cards, and Cards Gateway. As a senior product leader on the Spend team, you will be responsible for building the next-gen spend management solutions for customers and bank partners. We just launched our flagship product, Emburse Spend, which helps companies optimize all non-payroll spend. We do this by offering software driven corporate cards, robust reimbursements and approval workflows, and tools to automate reconciliation and accounting.
We are looking for an experienced product leader to join us at the ground floor and help us scale the product by innovating on the core product experiences and driving partner channel efforts. Specifically, this individual will own the product strategy and roadmap for Emburse Cards Gateway and one/two product areas of Emburse Spend. This leader will own the heart of Emburse Spend experience and accordingly this is a critical and high visibility role. A product leader in this role should enjoy spending significant time both with senior partner stakeholders on strategic roadmap discussions, and with engineering, design and product leaders, identifying opportunities to improve cards experience for Emburse customers.
What You’ll Do
- Sweat the details to incrementally improve customer experience (onboarding, payments, accounting, mobile, etc.) for both direct-to-customers and partner channels.
- Participate in global cards strategy development, and drive the roadmap to deliver best in class card-issuing experience across Emburse products.
- Lead market and user research and analysis to continuously improve the cards experience
- Drive the Go-to-Market and product launch efforts.
- Internalize customer pain points, communicating regularly with our Customer Success and Sales teams about customer feedback
- Design solutions, test, iterate and drive to launch
- Partner with Engineers and Designers on product development
- Serve as the conduit between Customer Success, Sales, Marketing and Engineering
- Drive consensus and identify key metrics for upcoming projects
- Own features, end to end
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in related field: Computer Science degree preferred
- 5+ years of Product Management experience ideally in B2B SaaS, and a deep understanding of software development
- 2+ years in a management role is a plus
- Experience bringing new products to the market is a plus
- Experience in fintech products is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- A rare ability to identify signal from noise, focusing on the most impactful decisions in a customer-facing context
- Demonstrated the ability to develop deep empathy with our customers
- A love of productivity tools and techniques, helping teams work better together
