We are looking for a full-time Director, Channel & Alliances to join our Partnerships Team with a focus on Europe.

In this exciting new role for parcelLab, you will help build our partner program in Europe. We are looking for a senior leader that can develop key strategic partnerships and also build a team of Partner Managers to support growth across Europe. This is a new role and team, and in 2022 will be equal parts recruiting and enabling new partners, as well as hiring and training new Partner Managers. You will report to our Global VP, Channel & Alliances and play a key role in the development of a new global parcelLab Partner Program.

With your previous experience in developing partnerships and alliances, you will quickly be able to identify and recruit relevant partners to join our partner ecosystem that will help grow our revenue streams and overall sales opportunities. You will onboard and support new partners, as well as managing existing partnerships to ensure ongoing success.

As a digital first company, we offer greater flexibility in working location. Therefore, you can work from our London or Munich offices, or remotely within the UK, Spain or Germany.

What you can expect:

  • Achieve annual partner-sourced and partner-influenced bookings goals
  • Recruit and lead a team of Partner Managers to support the European business
  • Build and manage a wide range of partnership models (Networking, Referral, Co-Sell, Resellers, etc)
  • Identify, recruit, and manage relevant partners in Europe including: System integrators, Agencies, Technology Partners, etc
  • Manage relationships with pan-European and national carriers (DHL, DPD, Royal Mail, Hermes, …)
  • Work collaboratively with sales, product marketing, and marketing teams to ensure our partners have the best possible support
  • Onboarding and ongoing enablement of new partners
  • Developing joint GTM plans with each partner

What you need to succeed:

  • At least 10 years of work experience
  • 5+ years in a similar channel and alliances role
  • Experience in building and leading small teams
  • A strong network in our relevant ecosystems (SAP, Salesforce, Adobe, etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of the SaaS/MarTech landscape and the e-commerce/retail sectors
  • Excellent management skills, including remotely
  • Strategic thinker who is able to blend consulting and business strategy to develop compelling plans for new partner initiatives
  • History of successfully developing and leading multiple strategic partnerships
  • Must be comfortable with complexity, and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrates use of critical thinking techniques
  • A strong technological understanding and knowledge with an appetite and aptitude to learn more quickly
  • Strong communication skills in English

Nice-to-have:

  • Bachelors degree in technical discipline field, e.g. engineering, computer science; a masters degree is preferable
  • Experience working in a high-growth/start-up environment
  • Other foreign languages, e.g. German, French, Spanish and Italian
