Imagination Technologies operates a hybrid working model globally that allows our employees to split their time between attending the workplace and working remotely.

What you’ll be doing

The Application Engineering (AE) team support customers all around the world. Our aim is to make Imagination and our partners successful by providing technical expertise in solution creation using Imagination’s IP and support our customers in shipping their products in volume and throughout the product lifecycle. This role is to ensure that all customers can be fully supported both pre and post sales in a timely manner and to co-ordinate the teams working together.

You will:

• Lead the global technical pre-sales strategy across all IMG IP to ensure it has a consistent look and feel with the aim of enabling the sales team to win valuable deals for IMG.
• Lead a team of pre-sales AEs in the UK as well as develop the pre-sales technical work within all AE teams, especially remote teams.
• Create and drive a pre-sales plan and strategy for new IP as it is brought to the market by IMG.
• Own the definition and implementation of policies and processes for pre-sales AE
• Manage the overall pre-sales activity
• Work with product and development teams to create more technical deep dive material or system level material as required to meet the requirements of new customers and/or markets

You have;

• Technical knowledge and experience of SoC design
• Understanding of the sales process within the semiconductor industry
• Experience of line/team management, with cross cultural/cross functional working
• The ability to analyse and present very technical information to a wide variety of audiences
• The ability to ask the right questions to get to the root of the problem
• The ability to prioritise multiple projects and influence internal/external stakeholders around key relevant matters

You might also have;

• Experience working with GPUs, CPUs and/or NNA
• Understanding of the sales process specifically within a semiconductor IP environment
• Experience working with customers based in the USA and APAC
