Here’s where you come in:

As the Director for Corporate Accounting, you will lead those functions which are responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of transactions, executing a strong internal control framework and ensuring external reporting obligations are met to stakeholders. In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Global Centre (GC) Corporate Accounting team in all accounting, financial reporting and compliance-related matters for GC offices;
  • Ensure appropriate policies and procedures exist for the financial management of all Global Centre (GC) offices, Regional Offices (RO), Field Offices (FO) and Support Offices (SO) where appropriate, through the monitoring of internal audit findings, the establishment of processes to identify internal control risk and resulting in the continuous improvement of the global finance policies and procedures and appropriate reporting to management.
  • Lead the operational management of the global year-end audit process and oversee the production of the consolidated financial statements in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Ensure global financial accounting processes are efficient, timely and accurate, reconciling items are cleared regularly, and that customers’ queries are resolved promptly and to their satisfaction.
  • Have a continuous improvement and customer-focused mindset, looking for opportunities to drive improved levels of service, speed, automation and reduce duplication to improve the customer experience.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 10 years of work experience in corporate accounting.
  • Experience must include at least 5 years of staff management.
  • Experience in US accounting standards (strong preference).
  • High fluent level of professional and technical English spoken and written. Proficiency in Spanish or other languages is an added advantage.
  • The position requires the ability and willingness to travel nationally and/or internationally up to 10% of the time.

Compensation: For positions filled by candidates based in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is $108,500 to $135,600 USD annually. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience and geographic location.
