ENERGY SAVING TRUST

Closing Date: 16 March 2022

Ref: DH 839

Energy Saving Trust is a leading and trusted organisation, dedicated to promoting energy efficiency, low carbon transport and sustainable energy use. We aim to address the climate emergency and deliver the wider benefits of clean energy as we transition to net zero.

The Energy Saving Trust is looking to recruit a permanent Development Officer to join our team in delivering effective and informative advice to Scottish Small and Medium Enterprises on energy efficiency, low carbon heat and renewable technologies.

If you have experience working of delivering high quality technical advice on energy efficiency, low carbon, or renewable technologies, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for individuals to join our team who can work independently whilst working towards team targets. Someone who has excellent interpersonal, telephone, and customer care skills.

In this role you will work with Scottish SMEs to understand the challenges and opportunities for the installation of carbon and cost saving measures. You will identify barriers to the implementation of energy efficiency measures and provide advice and support to help remove them by providing a wide range of free and impartial advice and support.

This is a full-time position. Home-based or blended working approaches are both possible for this role. This means that you could be based full-time at home, or blended home/office working from our office in Edinburgh. Working arrangements will be discussed at the interview stage.

Applications close 16 March 2022 5pm.
