And we are creating a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.About the roleThis fixed-term role will work alongside other Data, Solutions and Technical architects to develop a reference technology architecture model to support the delivery of the organisational strategy. They will deliver a consistent and sustainable documented model of this architecture using an established enterprise architecture standard and tooling. This documented infrastructure and solutions will be used to shape the Society’s technology future.Responsible for development of a model and approach that builds on current organisational technology and business developments. The model will encompass clear guiderails for future enhancements or additions with in-built flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. The development of architectural standards will enable more informed decision making and agile responses.The Enterprise Architect will ensure that the Society develops its systems, infrastructure and end user computing technology in line with strategic goals.About youAre you looking for an opportunity to use your experience and skills in Enterprise Architecture to make a real difference? You’ll have a TOGAF 9 certification or equivalent demonstrable experience with an architecture framework and development method. With a good knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, and API’s you’ll be able to work with a range of other technical experts to help define and build an architectural approach for the Society.We’re not just looking for someone with technical expertise, we will need your excellent inter-personal and teamworking skills to ensure that a range of inputs and requirements are considered. You’ll get to work as part of an architectural community and have interactions across the organisation to gather and analyse business drivers as well as to sell the benefits for the architectural approach.Working within a predominantly cloud-based environment, you’ll bring your experience of MS365, Azure, MS Power Platform, CRM Platforms (Salesforce / Dynamics 365), networking, and identity management technologies to bear. Knowledge of, and experience with, Enterprise Architecture tooling will also be an advantage as you’ll be involved in the selection of our tool of choice.This is a short, fixed-term role to ensure we build great foundations and a solid platform to facilitate the ongoing development of reliable, secure, cost-effective architecture that supports flexibility and innovation and provides our internal users and external Service-users with a great user experience.Our employees work hard every day to make a true difference in people’s lives.
