The Development manager will play a key role in the Income and Engagement team; leading on developing and delivering the strategy in this area in support of key capital and revenue priorities. With a passion and creativity for writing successful applications, you will be responsible for: research to ensure a regular and reliable pipeline of new prospects; developing grant proposals; leveraging existing relationships and ensuring excellent stewardship of donors.
To Be Considered For This Role You Will Need
- A demonstrable track record of identifying, negotiating and securing significant new partnerships from large scale trusts and foundations based in the UK and globally.
- Substantial experience developing compelling audience focused cases for support to drive long term value from grant making trusts, foundations and Lottery sources.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to produce well designed and high quality proposals.
