What we’re looking for?
An awesome Data Engineer, who will be part of our growing team helping us to rapidly evolve our Data Platform to supply the increasingly data needs of the business. Building on our AWS cloud data warehouse, and embracing technologies like real-time processing and data modeling, you will bring a rich blend of technical strength, engineering excellence, business acumen and the ability to operate in a very fast-moving environment to deliver value quickly and in an agile fashion and ability to collaborate with team and company culture.
What you’ll be doing?
- Develop and fine-tune services around continues data ingestion, storage and management such as with RDBMS, SFTP, RDBMS, API’s,
- Social media platforms and Events.
- Develop and deploy the data engineering applications on AWS Cloud Platform.
- Work towards system level objectives of the data engineering products and meet those SLOs
- Implement and execute robust data pipelines/batch jobs in a production environment.
- Build scalable, flexible, manageable n cost effective modern data pipeline frameworks on Cloud platform ecosystem.
- Team player ship and Guide the teams mates in development, implementation, go-live, and support phases.
- Knowledge in technical aspects of Data Governance, metadata, data quality, master data management & data lifecycle management.
Who you are?
- 4+ years of experience in Data engineering and big data technology stack.
- Masters or Bachelors of Computer Science or Equivalent.
- Experience in developing data ingestion pipelines and modeling data into Enterprise DWH, Data Marts etc..
- Experience in python programming language and accessing data from multiple third party systems including API’s, social media platforms etc..
- Experience in Data processing using pyspark framework.
- Experience in AWS tech stack AWS EC2, S3, Glue, RedShift, Lambda, cloud watch, quick sight.
- Experience in SQL and efficient data querying technics.
- Must come from an agile environment.
- Experience in Data processing (Spark + Python), data Ingestion and orchestration tools (Airflow/NIFI/AWS Glue/Spark).
- Strong Understanding of RDBMS, Middleware, DWH systems.
- Good to have Exposure of machine Learning technics and NoSQL Engines like Cassandra, Elastic Search, and Mongo DB etc…
