Le Wagon is looking for Data Analytics teachers in Berlin to join our team in providing the best learning experience in the field.
Job Vision ☀️
Lead Data Analytics Teachers at Le Wagon excel in all things data and are passionate about learning and education. They play a starring role in our coding bootcamps, being instrumental in helping our students get the skills they seek.
Your Responsibilities
You will be the owner of the day – explaining the key concepts through the content provided by Le Wagon and also leading the team of Teaching Assistants supporting you throughout the day.
Together you will lead a group of students of varying skill levels, which requires excellent communication skills as well as empathy. Although the exact day flow and tasks may vary due to the topic, individual student levels or size of the teaching team, below you can find the tasks you will be responsible for during a typical day:
- Prepare thoroughly for the teaching day with the help of slides, prerecorded videos and daily challenges provided by Le Wagon
- Teach 1.5h lectures in the morning between 9.00 and 10.30
- Manage and support the teaching team of the day
- Coach Students and support them when they need help
- Run a live session from 17.00 to 18.00
- Check in with the students during the day, making sure the atmosphere is good and nobody is falling behind
- Liaise with Le Wagon Staff whenever needed
About You
- You have minimum of 3 years of experience in a Data Analytics role ( i.e. you have worked as a Data Analyst, Head of Data, Business Analyst, Analytical Engineer, Data Engineer )
- You have teaching experience for groups and through 1:1 mentoring or pair programming
- You have worked in fast growing company and you are business savvy.
- You are an inspiring leader, empathetic and love to help others reach their objectives
- You are a clear and confident communicator, with strong written and verbal English. Breaking down complex concepts with people who are new to technology is not a challenge for you
- You have a product mindset. You get excited about solving real-world problems and are highly pragmatic
- You have experience managing teams using various mediums/channels/tools, both online and offline
- You are based in Berlin or somewhere close
We understand that you will not know everything about everything we teach and how we teach it, and you might not be fully familiar with our tech stack. If you have solid fundamentals with data analysis and you can operate the data stack of a modern company, chances are you are a good fit.
About Our Data Analytics program
During our bootcamp we cover:
- Python
- SQL
- Tableau, Power BI and Google Data Studio
- Google Analytics, Tag Manager and Sheets
- DBT, Airflow, Airtran and Fivetran
- Zapier, n8n
If you know all of these technologies already, that’s great – If you don’t but you would be willing to pick these up, that’s also fine.
You might or not have a degree in quantitative disciplines like Math or Statistics. That’s not what we’re looking for. We care about how you can contribute to bringing the best learning experience in EdTech.
