JOB SUMMARY
The Data Analyst will be responsible for the analysis, cleansing and standardization of data from the HR systems. The Analyst will be responsible for understanding the system interfaces, data requirements and business rules and nuances to cleanse the data and comply with all local laws and requirements. Responsibilities will include understanding system data and file requirements and creating data files for upload and testing.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Graduate preferably with degree in engineering, management or technology
0 – 2 years of experience within HR / Finance role with strong analytical skills
Strong problem solving and Communication skills (verbal, listening, written)
Microsoft Office products, including Power BI, PowerPoint and Excel.
Knowledge of SQL, Python or R is not essential but advantageous
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves blending information from various sources, applying business acumen to it and build valuable insights which can offer ways to improve our business, thus affecting strategic business decisions
Wrangle the data to bring it in shape for analytics and reporting purpose
Create and present analytic deliverables to colleagues in the analytics team, other internal stakeholders with varying degrees of analytical and technical expertise
Support in development of complex data and content for stakeholders in an accurate, understandable, and engaging manner
Support the monthly/quarterly reports prepared for different HR disciplines
Data Insights, Frameworks and Tools:
Supports HR teams and HRVPs in the EMEA HR Leadership team in providing data analysis and other intelligence for the production of business cases, reports and other requirements
Works closely with other HR teams to support data collection for specific business requests ensuring accurate and complete requirements and thorough quality assurance to ensure data is validated prior to distribution.
Coordinates and implements work and projects as assigned.
Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Leverages technology and effectively uses information systems and tools to generate reports.
Additional Responsibilities:
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reporting
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain our database systems.
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing online reports and performance indicators.
Presents ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, organized manner.
