Role and Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the team that directly interfaces with the lifeblood of our organization – our members. The CSR works in a fast-paced environment and provides top-notch service.

The CSR will answer inbound phone calls in a call center environment. The CSR is responsible for handling multiple types of inbound dental and vision inquiries, resolving service concerns, documenting and processing member requests, and completing changes to policies. Service to members will also include outbound calls and call transfers for up-sell and cross-sell opportunities to our licensed inside sales team.

The CSR also responds to questions from customers, troubleshoot, and resolves issues regarding insurance products and services. This role also processes paper requests such as data entry of applications, payments, and cancellations.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • 1-3 years of call center experience
  • Insurance industry knowledge is strongly preferred, but not required
  • Enthusiastic and empathetic people who share a passion for delivering an exceptional customer service experience
  • Driven individuals with a team player mentality
  • Those looking for a long-term career with stable hours Monday-Friday
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and pivot quickly
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable using basic math skills and assisting with billing questions
