Here’s where you come in:

As the Country Program Director for World Vision Bosnia-Herzegovina (WV BiH), you will be responsible to:

  • Provide strategic leadership and Senior Management oversight of the design, implementation and funding of WV BiH while ensuring full alignment with the World Vision International (WVI) Global Partnership Strategy, Our Promise, WVI family likeness for WV BiH
  • Provide leadership that enables maximising our impact for Child well-being, minimising WV’s risk and fulfilling WV BiH’s transition plan to become self-funded
  • Ensure that WV BiH is is appropriately structured, financially viable and appropriately resourced and compliant with WV policies
  • Represent WV and the Bosnia Country office externally to all donors, project partners, other WV Partnership offices and divisions, local Government, Church representatives and non-governmental organisations serving

Your major responsibilities will include:

  • Risk Management, Compliance & Security

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field applicable to developing country context
  • Minimum of 5 years managerial experience in Project Development with a thorough understanding of all areas of project management cycles in a complex, international organisation
  • Ability to engage at a strategic level with senior government, UN and INGO officials.
  • Strong budgetary and financial management skills.
  • Excellent proven track record of donor relations with multiple donors.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as required at least 20% of the time.
