Contracts and Performance Manager
To deliver strong commercial and performance management for the service delivery agreements that support the delivery of the Dartford road user charging scheme.You will work with the Dart Charge operations team, the service providers and their supply chain to continuously improve practice and processes that promote excellent customer experience and high business performance.
What you’ll be working on
- Provide contractual and commercial management of the charging and enforcement service provider including maintaining oversight of delivery of the supplier against requirements.
- Support the Senior Contracts & Governance Manager to deliver an effective change control process to ensure the contracts remain aligned to operational needs, National Highways business plan and wider strategic goals.
- Research and analyse best practice in charging, enforcement and strategic management information using outputs to scope and deliver packages of work that improve service performance.
- Evaluate monthly performance reports based upon consistent and robust assessment of evidence.
- Lead on supplier audits to ensure adherence to the quality plan, ensuring risks and potential opportunities are managed effectively and financial exposure is quantified.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, partners, and other charging authorities to identify, drive, capture, implement and transfer innovation and best practice across current and future activities.
To be successful you will have
- Proven communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions with groups of people both within and outside the organisation.
- Project management techniques and skills to deliver improvements in service quality and financial/performance efficiencies.
- Ability to prioritise to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to engage effectively with staff at all levels and with different technical understanding.
- Good organisational skills, to manage work in line with priorities
- Detail focused as well as having the ability to see the bigger picture
