VSO

Content Communications Officer

Apply for this role now via our VSO Job board

We’re looking for an unflappable, pragmatic communicator who knows how to uncover great content, is great at prioritising and delivering at pace, and above all, puts people first.

VSO’s ambition remains to bring lasting and positive change in the lives of primary actors – those who are marginalised or vulnerable – by using the transformational power of volunteering. In this role, you’ll work across the global VSO portfolio of projects to source, collate and deliver highly effective content that can be widely used to generate communications messages for use in the wider range of income generation activities including fundraising appeals, media articles, supporter magazine, email campaigns, website etc.

It’s a wonderfully varied role that will give you the opportunity to work alongside some very talented and capable people, who will inspire and motivate you in your role. We invite you to bring your authentic self to work – your skills, experience, knowledge – and you’ll be encouraged to put your own stamp on the role too.

Working across different countries and with a variety of teams, this is a great role that gives you the broadest view of international development and VSO’s unique volunteering for development model. You’ll report into Public Fundraising and join a dynamic team that’s achieving great results for our Primary Actors. If you’re thinking this sounds like the role for you and want to find out more, we’d love to hear from you.
