As a Consumer Lending Systems & Process Specialist you will be responsible for maintaining the Credit Union’s loan origination system. This will include testing, maintaining, updating, and leading the ongoing development of the loan origination system with a strong focus on process development. This individual will utilize technology and data to improve accuracy and efficiency in order to support loan origination volume.
Daily responsibilities consist of:
- Maintaining, testing, updating, and leading the ongoing development of the loan origination system with a strong focus on process development
- Utilizing technology and data to improve accuracy and efficiency in order to support loan origination volume
- Maintaining accurate documentation of processes, auditing, testing, and training
- Acting as a Consumer Lending Admin for the consumer loan origination system
- Developing and maintaining reports from the Credit Union’s core, lending, credit card servicing, and other systems
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel to merge and analyze reports for analytic and sales purposes
- Functioning as the liaison between Consumer Lending and the Marketing Business Analyst for report creation and analysis
- Assisting the lending team with audits, file reviews, vendor management, and business continuity plan updates
- Reviewing operational procedures and methods and recommending changes for improvement with an emphasis on automation and efficiency
- Identifying, researching, and analyzing production problems, developing solutions, and resolving problems
- Utilizing resources to attain an understanding of current Credit Union policies and procedures
- Performing all loan requests in an accurate and efficient manner to develop a lending relationship between the member and the Credit Union
- Ensuring all member disclosures are completed in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations

What we are looking for:
- A High School Education or GED
- One to Three Years of project based experience
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with SQL
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
