The Trilateral Cooperation Project “Digitalization of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Delivery” was approved by the Regional Fund for Trilateral Cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean. This project is a collaboration between CARICOM Secretariat in partnership with CANTA (Caribbean Association of National Training Authorities), German Cooperation, the European Union and the Brazilian Cooperation Agency (ABC).
In order to accomplish the project objectives, a consultancy will be hired to assess the current scenario regarding the TVET use in the region and draft regional guidelines for the digitalization of TVET delivery.
Tasks to be performed by the contractor:
Specifically, the contractor (consultant) is responsible for providing the following services:
- Kick off meeting and methodology presentation: Inception Meeting.
- Data collection related to the development of the situational analysis.
- Conduct a situational analysis to inform the development of regional guidelines for digitalization of TVET delivery.
- Development of a baseline report to inform regional guidelines for digitalization of TVET delivery.
- Develop draft regional guidelines for the digitalization of TVET delivery in the Region.
Qualifications:
Team leader:
- Postgraduate qualifications in TVET and/or Educational Planning.
- C2-level language proficiency (proficient/native speaker) in English.
- Five (5) years’ experience and training in education at the senior management level in the TVET education sector.
- Five (5) years of management/leadership experience as project team leader or manager in a company.
- Two (2) years of experience managing/implementing in projects in TVET in CARICOM (region).
- Familiarity with TVET in the CARICOM educational landscape.
Key expert 1:
- Postgraduate qualifications in education planning, teacher education, educational technology or higher education.
- C2-level language proficiency (proficient/native speaker) in English.
- Three (3) years’ experience and training in education at professional level.
- One (1) year of experience managing/implementing projects in TVET in CARICOM (region).
- Familiarity with TVET in the CARICOM educational landscape.
Local: Remote/ Travel to Caribbean countries may be requested.
Product production period: from 04/01/2024 to 09/15/2024
