Communications Officer

Durham University Business School

You will be part of a Marketing and Communications team at the School, who’s role is to enhance the international brand, profile and market position of Durham University Business School to target audiences.

To achieve this, the Communications Officer (Business School) will support the School in establishing strong working relationships with colleagues and clients and working collaboratively with the wider University Marketing and Communications Office as required. Utilising expertise to develop and deliver, amongst others:

 

  1. Delivering accessible content, driving the School’s content hub and supporting the creation of IMPACT magazine to further enhance the brand of the Business School in the UK and across the globe
  2. Overseeing, planning and developing the School’s social media profiles, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and integrating with University activity.
  3. Creation of internal communications content and the School’s internal newsletter ensuring engagement across the School

The role-holder will work with the School’s Marketing and Communications team in collaboration with:

 

  • Other colleagues in the Marketing and Communications function.
  • Other colleagues within the Business School, as well as other Faculties/Professional Services and Colleges.
