The Role

Oxfam International – Asia Regional Platform is looking for a Communication and Media Lead who provides strategic and technical leadership to Oxfam’s media and communications work in the region (using all platforms including digital and social media) ensuring delivery of high-quality media coverage of Oxfam’s advocacy and campaigns, development, and humanitarian work in Asia to support Oxfam’s public engagement including campaign and fundraising goals.

Who we’re looking for

Communication and Media lead with at least 7 years of working experience in the media or in the public relations / communications fields at national, regional or international level with specific experience in Asia, demonstrated by a track record of success and achievement in media and communications work and a degree or post graduate qualification in media, communications, sociology, digital marketing, or social change related disciplines. S/he should have excellent written and verbal communications skills, fluency in English essential, with the ability to communicate complicated issues with clarity and simplicity, often to short deadlines
