Co-Op Software Engineer

In this role you will:  

• Assist Symbotic’s Platform Services team with the continued development and expansion of the Vertical Lift Control and Case Storage services.
• Work collaboratively in a dynamic Agile/Scrum-based environment with others and give day to day progress reports on project tasks.
• Develop new micro-services based on existing monolithic code.

What you will need:

• Object oriented programing concepts, C# preferred.
• Familiarity with UI concepts and LINUX OS or Windows.
• Source code control, unit testing, design, and defect tracking tools.
• New application development, preferably in an industrial environment.
• UML, OOD, Agile, multi-threading, multiprocessing, & SW/HW integration.
• Support the design and development of high-quality software using some of the following: C#, WPF, WCF, LINQ, Rx extensions, ASP.NET, RabbitMQ.
• Micro-Services, Service Oriented Architecture.
• RDBMS – SQL Server or Oracle preferred.
