Position: Childcare Skills Coach

Location: East Midlands – Blended learning (remote & onsite)

One thing that may work in favour to many in this situation, is that this role is immediately available.

However, that’s not the sole reason you should be applying for this role. The training provider a small outfit, but one that is rapidly growing. Having recently secured a number of contracts across AEB, Traineeship, and recently been approved as a main provider for Apprenticeships, they have really cemented their place within the FE market.

The focus of this role will be to supporting Apprenticeship learners as they embark on their programmes at level 2 and 3 in their Childcare professions, if you can do level 5 then even better.

The companies ethos is very learner focused, with a quality learning experience and improving the local communities is at the heart of what they do. As such have created and are creating a blended learning model for most of their courses, so their learners can benefit from both in classroom and self taught/self engaging material in their own time.

What you need?

I hate the checklist job adverts, but to be considered for the Skills Coach role we do need you to already have experience in this field. Be a qualified Apprenticeship Coach, with experience of working with Apprenticeship learners up to level 3 minimum.

Ideally you will be able to get involved with further curriculum/material design to constantly improve the learning experience and be able to cater for a range of learning styles, which is an ever more important skill when working with a number of learner demographics.
