Here’s where you come in:

World Vision seeks a Chief of Party (CoP) for the proposed USAID-funded Resilient Environment South Activity in Haiti. The goal of the Activity is to increase community resilience by protecting and restoring ecosystem services. This activity is a 5-year program worth $24.99 million. As the CoP, you will be responsible for providing strategic vision, technical leadership and administrative oversight of the program ensuring compliance and project quality and will serve as the principal institutional liaison to the donor and local government entities.

You will also provide strategic leadership and supervision of sub-grantees and sub-contractors while ensuring the security, feasibility, and sustainability of the program and contribution to child wellbeing outcomes.

This position is contingent upon funding and donor approval.

Requirements include:

  • A master’s degree in natural resource management or related concentration from an accredited U.S. college or university, or international equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years of experience managing natural resource management or environment activities or related field in developing countries, especially in Haiti or in the Latin American and Caribbean region
  • Experience as a CoP/PD or senior technical advisor is required.
  • Experience of leading large and diverse teams.
  • Experience in leading and managing large grants in a complex environment.
  • Experience managing sub-grants and contracts under grants for complex projects
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Professional licenses, as required in the field and by the donor.
