Medair is now seeking our next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Medair requires a strategic leader with bold vision and courageous faith to take us forward in our mission. We are seeking a CEO who will think and act innovatively, strategically and boldly. After five year of wise and diligent leadership from David Verboom, our next leader will model an integrated Christian faith, demonstrating personal and organizational leadership and professional excellence and integrity.
Medair
Medair is an impartial, independent, and neutral humanitarian organisation inspired by Christian faith to save lives and relieve human suffering in the world’s most difficult-to-reach and devastated places. Since 1989, we’ve been helping people in crisis – regardless of race, creed or nationality – so that the world’s most vulnerable communities may live with dignity, free from human suffering, and with hope for a better future. We go beyond the extra mile because we believe each life matters. Medair provides a flexible range of emergency relief and recovery services, with particular expertise in health and nutrition; water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH); and shelter and infrastructure.
Workplace
The CEO position is a permanent appointment. The role needs to be based in Switzerland at our Global Support Office (GSO) in Ecublens (near Lausanne).

As soon as reasonably possible. Full time, open-ended contract.
