General Description of the Organization:

Orange collaborates with variety of national and international non-governmental organizations, as well as local initiatives to adopt community-based approach that leads to improve the response’s impact to the humanitarian crisis and provides sustainable and alternative solutions.

Job Purpose:

The Case Worker will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating procedures necessary to fulfill the health and humanitarian needs of the beneficiary. This role also involves conducting awareness sessions and delivering psychological first aid.

Duties, objectives, and competencies:

  • To provide information to beneficiaries receiving services from the institution about the services they can receive and their rights and obligations**.**
  • To obtain basic information about the beneficiaries by conducting the first interview/pre-evaluation with the beneficiaries who apply to our institution, and to determine their need and direct them to the services provided within or outside the center according to this need**.**
  • To carry out guidance activities for beneficiaries regarding services not provided in our institution but carried out by other institutions and organizations in the province and to follow up their referrals to other organizations**.**
  • Develop case management plans with the individual beneficiary/family**.**
  • To organize and facilitate the application of beneficiaries to public institutions, hospitals, and other service points, according to the case management plan**.**
  • Regularly monitor the case management beneficiary for next steps and inform the beneficiary of all relevant steps.
  • Contributing to the organization of social events and informative seminars**.**
  • Meeting with beneficiaries during field/institution visits and providing information on the issues they need**.**
  • To facilitate beneficiaries’ access to the services they need**.**
  • To regularly report the information obtained during field studies and convey it to M&E and/or Project manager**.**
  • Playing, facilitating beneficiaries’ access to services, and providing accompaniment**.**
  • Taking part in analysing the data obtained**.**
  • To act with team spirit in all work by complying with universal ethical values**.**
  • Strong (self) organizational skills and working in a disciplined and consistent manner with working hours**.**
  • Participating in supervision sessions, follow-up meetings, and staff training**.**
  • In addition to the above, they may be asked to make additional contributions towards the needs of the project.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in case management, including as a Nurse, Mental Health Case Manager, or a related job
  • Excellent knowledge of case management principles
  • Previous experience with case management aspects
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Compassionate with teamwork skills
  • Bachelor degree in a related field
