Orange collaborates with variety of national and international non-governmental organizations, as well as local initiatives to adopt community-based approach that leads to improve the response’s impact to the humanitarian crisis and provides sustainable and alternative solutions.

Job Purpose:

The Case Management Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day work of the Case Workers and ensuring the quality delivery of protection-related services, including case management support and an emergency cash fund (ECF).
The Case Management Officer monitors the support provided, with a focus on facilitating refugees’ access to services, registration, health, education, and social safety net programs.
The Case Management Officer guides and works closely on a day-to-day basis with the project’s case workers in order to set and ensure the follow-up to each client’s case plan.
He/she is responsible for ensuring the collection and maintenance of case documents in an orderly fashion.

Duties, objectives, and competencies:

A. Technical advice and guidance:

  • Supervises individual case management & and special needs fund plans of individual clients and monitors the follow-up work by the case workers.
  • Designs, organizes, and delivers seminars and workshops on topics related to accessing services and available social safety net schemes to beneficiaries, partner staff, and other stakeholders (jointly with other relevant staff) in addition to other protection-related topics and service

B. Manage a quality service

  • Communicates with service providers to ensure effective and appropriate interventions and follow-up.
  • Communicates closely with all partner organizations and government counterparts to ensure beneficiaries are referred and supported in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Monitors the referrals to partner organizations and acts as the focal point to receive referrals from partner organizations and other points.
  • Works closely with the other teams in the project (emergency shelter repair, nutrition, winterization) and other protection projects in Orange and with partners to ensure smooth and efficient referral processes across all sections.
  • Works closely with the case workers, including assigning cases, conducting case discussions, following up on cases, and ensuring that case plans are implemented successfully and in a timely manner.

C. Reporting and recording

  • Maintains accurate and confidential client records and keeps track of all necessary figures and data related to protection services under Case Management and ECF
  • Provides regular and accurate reporting on case management & and emergency fund activities as required.

  • Ensures qualitative interventions through regular monitoring, review, and follow-up.
  • Manages the service monitoring as requested.
  • Respects confidentiality and the rights of the clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or relevant degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a similar position.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word.
  • knowledge of technical reports
  • Advanced written and spoken in Arabic (native speaker)
  • Intermediate written and spoken in English.
