Global Witness is looking for an experienced leader to job share with the Campaign Strategy Lead in our Forests team.

About the role
Alongside your job share partner you will lead our campaign to protect the world’s climate-critical forests by curbing the financing of deforestation, pushing for significant legislative changes and deepening our relations with partner NGOs affected by deforestation.
About you
You excel at creating and leading successful global campaigns, bringing your advocacy experience and political acumen, as well as your knowledge on the financing behind environment and human rights destruction.
You will use your leadership and management expertise to lead an effective, collaborative and international team and to make a positive contribution to the broader organisation to support Global Witness’ values and purpose.
Finally, as a flexible, co-operative and a keen communicator, you thrive in a participatory environment.

This role is based in London and therefore to be considered for this role you must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK. We are currently trialling a new hybrid working model for 2022 that requires staff to be in the office at least 20% of their time, but this may change in the future.
This is a permanent role working 21 hours per week.
