Your Tasks
- The Buyer is responsible for supporting of Procurement Officer in the purchase of goods, spares, equipment, repairs and services to meet the Company’s requirements;
- This will include researching and selecting the most cost effective purchasing alternatives, whilst ensuring high standards of quality. The Company’s guidelines on business ethics must be followed at all ������
- Conform with and abide by ail regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions;
- Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative work;
- Maintain complete up-to-date purchasing records/data and pricing in the system;
- Coordinate with user departments and suppliers to ensure adequate specification of requirements;
- Manage and follow up overseas and local orders for on time delivery;
- Handle and monitor claims to vendors for defective and missing parts;
- Provide support with quotations for the ose of tenders;
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders and documents in accordance with Company policies and procedures at all ������
- Source, select and negotiate the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers and sub-contractors;
- Source new parts, suppliers or sub-contractors when the need arises.
Your Profile
- Technical or business related qualification;
- LMV driving license;
- First-Aid training.
