About the team
TikTok’s Global Business Team aims to help businesses and brands unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and drive revenue and growth. We provide strategic input and run high-impact campaigns to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips.
B2B Event Manager is an experienced marketer focused on fostering exceptional webinars, end-to-end execution of industry and partnership seminars, and delivering local and owned events to contribute to generating sales leads. The ideal candidate is a bold, multi-faceted and innovative digital persona with a strong background in events production, industry relations, content, technology, operations, systems and tools integrations, and analytics. This individual is not afraid to think big and is also willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done. This individual has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing demands. A positive, team-focused attitude toward webinars and industry partnerships.
Responsibilities
– Develop and execute event marketing programs for TikTok B2B targeting audiences (advertisers, agencies, industry partners etc.);
– Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on event programs.
– Own and develop TikTok’s B2B events marketing strategy and events calendar, including but not limited to the coordination and the execution of trade industry events, sponsorship, speaking opportunities and many more;
– Manage and collaborate with cross-functional and in-market teams to ensure the success of TikTok For Business’ event initiatives;
– Understand the customer journey and use events as a tool to ensure communication effectiveness;
– Build strong relationships with strategic event organizers and manage the day-to-day relationship and activities with external vendors and event partners in the region;
– Provide post event analysis, budget recaps, internal and external feedback and incorporate learning into future event plans by measuring each event’s ROI.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related majors;
– 3+ years of experience in B2B (Business-to-business) events with both offline and online event formats;
– Strong understanding of the digital advertising in Korean market with past experiences of working in media, advertising, communication agencies or technology industries;
– Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, suppliers and cross-functional teams;
– Ability to oversee multiple events concurrently in a timely and accurate manner, on budget;
– Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills with strong attention to the details;
– Excellent verbal and written English and Korean communication skills.
