  • limited to two years / full-time (39 hours per week)

Your tasks:

  • Ensuring the uniform application of budgetary, procurement and funding law of German, European and international donors of humanitarian aid, transitional aid and long-term development cooperation
  • Development of a knowledge management system for donor guidelines, as well as participation in ensuring uniform minimum standards for project implementation with private and institutional donors, explicitly in the area of compliance

  • Establishment of risk management (e.g. corruption prevention) for our projects and specific support in individual cases

  • Responsibility for the systematic recording of audits and fraud cases, as well as development of recommendations for action

  • Support of the annual financial statements and all types of audits (internal, external, project-related)

  • Cooperation with the Grants Team of the Plan International Federation and the compliance specialists of the National Offices for the systematic implementation of plan-internal compliance guidelines

  • Planning and implementation of training courses, workshops and trainings for colleagues in Germany and the country offices or partner organisations on the requirements of donors and guidelines

  • Support in departmental knowledge management (maintenance of manuals, elaboration of process descriptions)

Your profile:

  • Completed commercial training or a degree ideally in the field of business, accounting or another relevant subject
  • At least two years of professional experience in the areas of project or financial controlling
  • Legal background / experience in contract management / compliance desirable
  • Very good knowledge of project management, taking into account the requirements of national and international funding providers
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Very good knowledge of German and English spoken and written. French and/or language skills are an advantage
  • Strong organizational talent as well as structured, independent and goal-oriented work
  • Team-oriented, flexible, solution-oriented and communicative
