About The Position

For our new property Hyatt Regency Erbil Residences, we are looking for an Assistant Stewarding Manager who enjoys taking extra miles to ensure the success of the commercial function. Someone who is a natural leader and enjoys the challenge of exceeding the highest standards of guest experience and financial success. He/She will be responsible for assisting the Stewarding Manager to enforce the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment and your role, will include key responsibilities such as:

• Providing functional assistance and direction and being responsible for the smooth running of the whole stewarding operation
• Supervising the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operation and costs
• Supervising the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene as well as the quality level of product and services
• Checking more specifically the proper use of chemicals and washing accessories
• Coordinating with the Stewarding Manager in establishing minimum and maximum operating par stocks and supplies and approving storeroom requisition
• Maintaining health inspection record, attendance record, and file on casual employees
• Taking all necessary actions to reduce the loss of silverware/flatware

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism studies;
• Experience in a similar position
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – We are looking for someone with a sincere passion for working with others and creating a difference in our workplace
• Fluent in English
