PSI seeks an Associate Analyst, Grants & Contracts that will Support the development and maintenance of systems and provide compliance guidance.

Salary Range:
$60,000 (MINIMUM) – $71,000 (MID-POINT) – $82,000 (MAXIMUM)

Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, experience, internal equity, external market analysis, and other business factors permitted by law. Responsibilities

Your contributions

  • Provide regular updates and improvements to G&C SharePoint site. Work in close collaboration with IT on the continued development of the Award Management System (AMS) Conduct trainings and support PSI staff on using the AMS. Conduct quality control checks of the award files database and AMS system, reviewing and suggesting areas for process improvement based on usage trends. 50% of Time
  • Contribute to the development of G&C tracking and reporting tools including but not limited to the Contracts Mailbox, facilitating conversion to AMS in future versions, developing guidelines for AMS, reaching out to PSI staff for feedback on system issues, setting up and analyzing surveys related to S-Tracker AMS issues. Generate reminders for Small Business Subcontracting / TIP/ FFATA / PLGHA / Safeguarding reporting and certifications for PMT and Network Member staff as well as flagging new requirements needing to include in D-Tracker, as applicable. Help the Head, Subaward Compliance and the Director, Grants & Contracts identify and analyze potential areas of regulatory risk related to prime and subaward management and monitoring in order to facilitate timely revisions to G&C tools, guidance documents and templates. Analyze past audit findings and risk areas, working with G&C portfolio managers and the Subaward Compliance team to proactively identify potential findings. 40% of Time
  • May be involved in supporting departmental trainings in terms of the development, organization, and presentation of training modules. 10% of Time

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
  • Master’s Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred
  • At least 3 years of related experience. Equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted.
  • Ability to compose reports, presentations, memos, emails, and other written documents in an organized, logical, and concise manner. Ability to write well in English is extremely important, as are attention to detail and correct grammar usage.
  • Ability to monitor timely changes in donor/client rules and regulations, developments in the compliance field, and present to the Senior G&C Manager and Director potential impacts on PSI’s practices and operations.
  • Some familiarity with the Uniform Guidance, FAR/AIDAR, and other donors/clients such as The Global Fund, FCDO, KfW, World Bank, UN Agencies, and foundations with the ability to keep abreast of changes in the regulatory funding environment.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills – especially with time-sensitive work.
  • Ability to deal with moderate to complex issues or problems and recommend thoughtful and practical solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written/verbal), analytical and Problem-solving skills.
  • Able to use sound judgment, work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint, MS Word and Excel.
  • French language skills preferred.
