Job Summary
The ACAA’s Air Service Development Internship will expose the student to the business process of working with airlines and external stakeholders to understand their business needs and demands. The intern will receive hands-on experience through marketing activities for the development of air carrier and air cargo services for the Allegheny County Airport Authority.

Here is how the Air Service Development Intern will help:

• Analyze and manipulate raw data through marketing research for the purpose of developing market analysis reports.
• Research and develop new literature for route development purposes; work with fellow airports on marketing strategies and assist in creating relevant survey materials.
• Research and benchmark regional economic trends that promote air service to airlines and encourage investment to the airport
• Represent the Authority through marketing and awareness programs by partnering with the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Pittsburgh Airport Chamber of Commerce and other community events to promote designated carriers and air routes
• On-line research to monitor community strengths, gain exposure to the community and regional market intelligence.
• Update passenger and cargo air service promotional materials.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned or required.

Qualifications
Requirements to apply for role of Air Service Development Intern are:

• Second or third-year undergraduate from an accredited four-year college or university in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field. Third-year undergraduates are preferred. Graduate students are also considered.
• Must maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or greater.
