Production Supervisor

DESCRIPTION:* Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing batteries assembly for Volvo. Responsible for supervising 12-20 Production Workers/Assemblers.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor will oversee the production floor and staff.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Assist Production Manager with hiring and training of new employees.
Schedule and oversee approximately 10-30 production employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Head of the Production Floor Management.
Technical and disciplinary management of a shift within our production series.
Ensuring a smooth flow of production processes to achieve the defined production targets.
Reporting production results to Operations team.
Fault analysis and definition of measures in the event of plant malfunctions in cooperation with the production engineering department.
Support CIP measures, maintenance, and servicing activities.
Maintaining order and cleanliness (5S) of the production floor.
Preparation and continuous updating of production documentation.
Implementation and organization of safety instructions based on current regulations and ensuring compliance.
Optimization of production processes.
Participation in recruiting production employees.
Regular employee training and further development of the qualification matrix.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS*
High School diploma or equivalent required.
At least three (3) years supervisory experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferably automotive.
Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
High level of commitment, loyalty and team spirit as well as an independent, precise and goal-oriented way of working.
Team player with hands-on mentality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*
Ability to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
