Full time; Project office in Grenada, occasional regional or international missions

May 2024 until April 2025, with possibility for extension

Duties

  • Manage the administrative and financial services for the project (accounting, cash management, procurement and receivables)
  • Assisting the team, project partners & international consultants with organizing travel and work logistics, including local and regional events, meetings and workshops
  • HR support (incl. On/offboarding of new staff) and salary and related payments
  • Coaching of team on administrative services and record management

Profile requirements

Qualifications

  • University degree in relevant specialization and qualification in business administration or a related career; desirable (equivalent of BA or MBA)
  • Candidate must be a Citizen of Grenada or be allowed to work in Grenada.

Professional Experience and required competences

  • At least 6 years professional experience in a comparable position, ideally in an international environment (regional or international institution or company)
  • At least 4 years of work experience with services contracts & acquisition management, accounting procedures and audits
  • Experience in event and travel management
  • Profound experience with HR processes (Onboarding/ Offboarding and salary procedures
  • Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related accounting software, phone, fax, email, the internet), computer applications (e.g. MS Office)

Languages, applications and other competences

  • Fluent English Level. German and Spanish are an asset
  • Excellent organizational, advisory and management skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural team and with individual independence/ initiative
  • Valid driver’s license or willingness to acquire one
  • Willingness to work to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management

  • to have your data stored by us rectified (Article 16 GDPR)
  • to have your data stored by us erased (Article 17 GDPR)
  • to obtain restriction of processing of your data stored by us (Article 18 GDPR)
  • to object to the storage of your data if they are processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(1)(f) and (e), GDPR (Article 21 GDPR)
  • to receive data that concern you in a commonly used and machine-readable format from the controller such that they can be potentially transmitted to another controller (right to data portability, Article 20 GDPR).
  • to withdraw your consent to the extent that the data have been processed on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). The lawfulness of processing on the basis of consent given remains unaffected until receipt of the withdrawal.
