Job Description

RECYCLING GROUP SALES SUPPORT – Administrative

Note: Remote – Flexible Work From Home Opportunity within the metro Charlotte area!

Purpose

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide organized, efficient, and effective administrative support to the Recycling Group Procurement team and Sales Managers. The administrator will support the team’s sustainable and efficient operations initiatives as the organization experiences growth.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the procurement team, including training support (Sugar/G-link, lead generating, Strategic Accounts, Market Mapping, focus on specific market prospects), database maintenance.
  • Work toward accomplishing individual and team-oriented goals.
  • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, logistics, and technical service groups.
  • Maintain, develop and provide detailed reporting on a weekly/monthly basis for the sales team and managers (Rep performance tool).
  • Audit reports related to procurement reps, including leads, opportunities, and new tons.
  • Maintain updates and be aware of required changes in the training manual.

Other Responsibilities

  • Comply in all respects with the provisions of the Caraustar Standards of Business Conduct Policy is required.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or experience in related field preferred (but not required)
  • Industry experience preferred (but not required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software programs (CRM) as needed
  • Must be able to perform with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a self-starter who is able to work effectively with a geographically dispersed team with minimal supervision
