RESPONSIBILITIES:
A partial list of Purchasing Analyst duties includes:
- Perform audits and resolves cost and pricing discrepancies to ensure pricing data integrity.
- Normalize data and develop usable reports using variations of Microsoft Access and Excel.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills required.
- Provide information that can support a customer’s decision-making processes by applying accurate and timely data analysis.
- Database management.
- Adapts and demonstrates progress in learning procedures, processes, tools, and customer expectations.
- Works with Senior level analysts and management on various projects.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Other member support and analysis duties as assigned.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Successful candidates should show strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. This position is an intermediate level position, training on databases, etc. is expected. 2-3 years of work experience in a position showing the ability to work on multiple projects at once with full attention to details and able to explain results desired. Flexible personality for a small office atmosphere.
