Temporary until 31 July 2024

37 hours per week – Term Time 40 weeks per annum

Business Support Scale 6, points 20-22

£23,577 – £25,109 (pro-rata)

Actual Salary – £20,567.07 – £21,922.08

Administration Coordinator – Student Services

The Student Service is looking for a highly motivated and inspiring Administration Co-ordinator to lead an effective and efficient administration function for the department. The role is a cross-college role and will involve Student Services at both Tynemet and South Tyneside Colleges. Therefore, the ability to travel and be flexible with working hours is essential.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with proven experience of managing and developing a successful team. With a minimum of Level 4 qualification in Business Administration or be willing to work towards one.

We are looking for someone who is able to organise and manage own workload, proficient in MS Office packages and has experience of developing and implementing administration systems and procedures.

Experience of working in the education sector would be advantageous – but is not essential.
