The Role
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the development of the portfolio marketing plans, as well as program activation to drive demand generation and growth acceleration.
Role Accountabilities
Deliver Growth
- Actively contribute to the achievement of sales and marketing plans for the market and deliver on the business objectives and financial goals for the assigned portfolio.
Marketing Planning and Program Activation
- Provide local market and competitive intelligence and input to the area and global teams for marketing planning and program development.
- Localize marketing plans and activate programs based on country needs and opportunities.
- Manage marketing budget ensuring effective program ROI.
Product Commercialization
- Ensure local regulatory compliance for product portfolio and programs.
- Work with key functional teams (Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Scientific Affairs & Education) to optimize market access.
- Drive new product launches by collaborating with key stakeholders to determine launch strategy, including market insights, go-to-market plan, pricing, awareness and demand generation.
- Voice of market, ideas, local needs for new products and participate on global NPI teams, as needed.
Demand Generation
- Drive demand generation at the local layer. Define local integrated tactics, execute end-customer communication in alignment with campaign objectives and track outcomes.
- Enhance sales partnership and engagement. Deliver programs, sales aids and contents to field sales team, and work in close alignment with them to engage customers.
- Set up rigorous end-to-end process for lead routing and qualification, utilizing SMP framework and martech stack (SFDC, Eloqua).
- Grow the customer database, manage customer profiles and segments for effective campaign targeting.
- Utilize data (point-of-sales, CRM, campaign analytics) to identify growth opportunities, devise customer targeting strategies, optimize campaign performance and for marking informed decisions.
Channel Marketing
- Develop and implement channel marketing programs, promotions, content syndication, working hand-in-hand with country channel managers.
- Assess capabilities of channel partners to develop eCommerce strategy, where needed
Product Management
- Local material owner responsible for managing product life cycle (phase in/out), in-country product inventory and demand forecasting. Provide input into the IBP process.
- Price and margin management, in accordance with the global pricing corridor guidance, price-value positioning and market conditions.
Promotion and Local Marketing Support
- Ensure language translation, regulatory, legal alignment for promotional contents.
- Manage regional/local marketing activities such as trade shows, conferences and customer events.

Qualifications And Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of marketing experience in the healthcare industry.
- Possess good understanding of clinical marketing and go-to-market model for medical devices in the local market
- Strong commercial focus, able to adapt global strategies to local market needs, operationalize and drive results.
- Independent, resourceful, able to influence and work collaboratively in a matrix organization.
- Digital marketing experience will be advantageous.
- Hands-on, attention on details, ability to multi-task
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Education/Location:
- Degree, preferably Masters, in Marketing or Business-related disciplines
- Location: Seoul, Korea
