Accounts Payable Specialist

Tetra Tech International Development (http://tetratechintdev.com) is accepting applications from qualified candidates for an Accounts Payable Specialist. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing all accounts payable for the firm, collaborating across technical sectors/departments as well as within business operations.

This position is preferably based in Burlington, Vermont.

Responsibilities:

* Process vendor invoices utilizing Oracle accounting system;

* Prepare daily wire transfers, both international and domestic;

* Track payments to vendors and consultants;

* Check vendor invoices for accuracy;

* Maintain accounts payable files and reconciling petty-cash fund;

* Prepare bank deposits for lockbox;

* Pull accounts payable vouchers, as requested by auditors; and

* Other germane and necessary tasks as requested by the Controller.

Qualifications:

* Some formal education or a bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field;

* Minimum of 2 years of accounting support experience in an office environment desired;

*Excellent computer skills in MS Office, and data entry and management required;

*Demonstrated versatility, reliability, and follow-through;

* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills;

* Very strong organizational skills and critical attention to detail;

* Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes intense work environment;

* Energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player; and

*U.S. work authorization required.
