We are looking for an accounting clerk to join our team who has thorough attention to detail and wants to demonstrate their accounting skills through working with our clients and accounting team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department;
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records;
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements;
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner;
  • Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies;
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws;
  • and constantly update job knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Proven accounting experience;
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
  • Familiarity with bookkeeping (https://resources.workable.com/bookkeeper-job-description) and basic accounting procedures;
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software;
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Aptitude for numbers;
  • Data entry and word processing skills;
  • And well organized.
