The role of the Accountant is to administer all core accounting activities and ensure that all accounting transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
Responsibilities
- Perform according to stated procedures regular data entry and bookkeeping entries such as invoicing, purchases, costing, expenses…
- Prepare debit and credit notes upon request.
- Prepare and print regular routine and standard reports such as vouchers, cheques and simple account statements.
- Reconcile the reports manually with manual vouchers in order to ensure that accurate and up to date records are maintained.
- Prepare bank reconciliations.
- Prepare suppliers reconciliations and payments.
- Provide routine administrative duties such as filing and archiving.
- Prepare documentation, reporting and analysis of accounting data as requested in order to provide relevant information for audit or other purposes when needed.
- Any other related tasks as per management’s requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Business, Accounting, Finance, or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Excellent computer literacy
