Staff Accountant

Eastridge is seeking a Staff Accountant for a 3d vehicle modeling company located in Torrance, CA. This is a cutting-edge technology company based in LA. that invented and patented a manufacturing system that combines software, additive manufacturing, and assembly technologies to radically reduce the material, energy, time, and capital required to design and manufacture vehicles.

In this role, you will have an opportunity to join our fast-paced Finance and Accounting teams and be a part of a dynamic hi-tech growth stage company. This opportunity will allow you to gain valuable hands-on accounting and finance experience including accounts payable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system. This includes booking general ledger entries for month-end close.
• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data to support key decision-making.
• Guide AP clerical staff by coordinating activities answering questions and performing AP reconciliation and variances investigation.
• Support invoice entry using a 3-way matching process.
• Interface cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and technology departments to proactively resolve any accounting issues.
• Support federal and state tax filings and other financial compliance as directed.
• Annual audit support.
• Work with management to evaluate and effectively implement and enhance relevant financial software toolchain (e.g., Oracle ERP, expense management software, other); identify automation opportunities to improve process efficiency and save time.
• Recommend process improvements and develop accounting procedures in collaboration with management.
• Ad-hoc project support

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of GAAP, General Ledger and 3-way matching
• Willingness to grow and be hands-on
• Bachelors in accounting
