Full Job Description

For over 40 years this global Blue Chip company has been proving organisations across the world with dedicated, effective and reliable ICT solutions and managed services. Specialising in the provision of unified comms, contact centre, network and systems integration, security, cloud computing and managed services, they are at the forefront of the Australian ICT industry from a service and people perspective. As a result of growth they now require an experienced BDM in VIC.

Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for effectively winning new business in the Canberra enterprise and government sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:

• New business generation – strategic win backs, new logos, new to existing
• Developing high level account plans, opportunity analysis and scoping new business opportunities – net new and growing existing account spends
• Working internally with Practice Managers, Service Delivery, Presales and Consulting teams and externally with tier 1 global vendor partners
• Development of detailed account plan – SPIN, TAS etc
• Presenting to senior IT and Business decision makers including C level executives

You will demonstrate:

• A background (>10 years) in ICT sales preferably selling infrastructure solutions, security, managed services, IT outsourcing, professional services and/or Cloud
• Proven success in winning deals into the millions of dollars
• A proven history of success – meeting and exceeding targets
• Executive level credibility – contacts and experience of negotiating at C levels
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills
• Superior negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Tertiary qualification desirable
