ABA ROLI Communications Officer

ABA ROLI is looking for a Communications Officer. This position liaises with ABA ROLI divisions and teams to ensure that communications opportunities are leveraged for maximum impact and provides support to the Outreach Director and all other ROLI and ABA entities.

Principal Duties/Job Responsibilities

• Collaborates with ABA ROLI regional divisions, other ABA entities, board members, external partners, and ABA members on international rule of law events, cross-promotional digital content, and internship opportunities.
• Films, edits, produces, and disseminates all video content.
• Writes, copy edits, and formats digital content, event marketing copy, and related proposal work.
• Conceptualizes, designs, edits, produces, and manages printing of all outreach collateral, including: annual report, program/division specific branding, research reports, infographics, event promotions, and online content.
• Produces and manages grant-funded communication responsibilities.
• Manages social media platforms for ABA ROLI.

Basic Qualifications & Interests

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
• At least two (2) years of work experience in an outreach/communications capacity.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms, CMS software, and video editing suites.

Preferred Qualifications & Interests

• Experience and familiarity with international democracy, human rights, and governance development assistance.
• Advanced knowledge of full Adobe Creative Suite
