RESPONSIBILITIES

As Deputy Field Coordinator your main objective will be to lead the successful implementation of ACF programs, the overall management of Program Team and provide support to the Field Coordinator.
You will:
– Coordinate overall implementation and the quality of program at field level
– Manage the Program team at field level
– Facilitate the coordination system within the Organization at programs and support levels.
– Act as the Field Coordinator during absences and liaise directly with other stakeholders
– Follow up with contextual and security analysis
– Ensure to communicate the information effectively and accurately between the field teams, the base and the coordination.

REQUESTED PROFILE

You will be working in a sensitive, politicized and multi-stakeholder environment. As such, we expect you to have/be:
– 3 years’ experience in the humanitarian sector in operational functions in management and coordination
– a Master’ s degree in development / humanitarian aid, international relations or a field relevant to ACF expertize
– nutrition experience (necessary), WASH or FSL (as an asset)
– excellent leadership and management skills, ability to support Program Managers
– experience working in a volatile and insecure context with emergency settings
– able to show, experience in security management, remote management and restrictive environnements.
– excellent communication skills with a great sense of diplomacy
– good understanding of support functions, project cycle management, proposal writing and assessment needs
– strong problem solving skills, with troubleshooting and the ability to take decisions quickly

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS / SALARY

If based in Myanmar:
– 12 months contract (under French legislation)
– Monthly gross salary from 2 200 to 2 525 EUR based on past experience
– Per diem and living allowance: 277EUR + 155EUR net, field paid.
– + 150EUR of monthly gross salary as country allowance.
– + 16% of monthly gross salary as reimbursement of retirement insurance for non-French citizen.
– + Child allowance, limited to 5 children.
– 25 annual leave
– + 1 week every 3 months.
– Flight to Bangkok and USD 300 break allowance.
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance
If based in Thailand:
– 12 months contract (under French legislation)
– Monthly gross salary from 2 200 to 2 525 EUR based on past experience
– Per diem and living allowance: 232,00EUR + 380,00EUR net, field paid.
– + 150EUR of monthly gross salary as country allowance.
– + 16% of monthly gross salary as reimbursement of retirement insurance for non-French citizen.
– + Child allowance, limited to 5 children.
– 25 annual leave
– + 1 week every 3 months.
– Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance
