Citi is looking for Summer Analysts join our Citi Global Wealth team in Geneva for 10 weeks. Citi Global Wealth’s services are built upon three core capabilities: tailored lending to meet our clients’ needs for liquidity, access to some of the world’s leading equity, fixed income and alternative investment managers, and an integrated holistic approach to family wealth management. Citi Global Wealth also uses proprietary technologies that enable our bankers, investment counsellors and product specialists to provide a broad range of integrated strategies to our clients. If none of these terms make sense right now, that’s ok, the goal of this internship is for you to have a first taste of Wealth Management and learn the basics!
Your internship will give you opportunities to explore the entire Citi Global Wealth business as well as to work closely with a particular team on a day-to-day basis. For example, you may work with:
- The Private Banking Team, who work to onboard new clients and manage every aspect of existing clients’ relationship with Citi, helping them manage their wealth holistically and plan for their families’ futures
- The Investment Counsellor Team, who provide investment advice on a broad range of asset classes and strategies to clients, bring them the very best of our leading platform
- The Investment Finance Team, who help our clients access loans, facilitate liquidity needs, enhance yield, and diversify their assets through Margin Lending, Commercial/Residential Real Estate financing, Art and Aircraft financing, and much more
- The Capital Markets Team, specialists who offer advice and cutting-edge institutional execution of equities, commodities, fixed income, foreign exchange, rates and structured products
- The Investment Management Team, who offer global and regional-focused discretionary portfolios across a range of asset classes and themes, including equities, fixed income and multi-asset class investment strategies.
- A range of other product and support teams, which include the Business Development Group (BDG), Platform Development & Innovation, Global Family Office Group, and Trust and Wealth Planning among many others

We’re committed to teaching you the skills you need. The 10 week summer analyst program starts in June in the Geneva office and offers an in-depth training program. Summer analysts are assigned to work within specific teams during the program and allocations are determined based on business needs. Successful summer analysts may be considered for a full time position after graduation.
Your time here will look something like this…
- Collaborate with the wider Global Wealth division to carry out transactional services
- Assist in building a sustainable client pipeline and shortening deal closures
- Analyze customer needs and deliver structured end to end global solutions
- Support the team leaders and department heads on specific projects and task
We want to hear from you if…
You are in your penultimate/final year of university
- Expected to achieve or have achieved Good (5-5.49, or equivalent) at undergraduate level in any degree discipline
- You have an interest in Wealth Management and Private Banking
- You are fluent in a 2nd language (this is desirable but not essential)
