Our data team manages a huge amount of medical data

• Thanks to our leading monitoring platform connected to 75 000+ pacemakers and defibrillators
• Thanks to our unique access to the National Health Data Platform (3,7 million patients from 2010)

Connecting these powerful data, we are working on many algorithms to detect and predict cardiac troubles.

As we grow ($23M raised in Series A in January 2022 => x2 headcount done in 2022), in France, Europe and in the US, we are opening a new Data Scientist Internship, to work in the Data team with Issam Ibnouhsein, our great Head of Data, your future supportive Manager!

Joining the Data Team, you will facilitate access to Data in order to promote scalability

★ You will contribute to the development of robust Data pipelines

★ You will contribute to the implementation of metadata stores and data quality KPIs

★ You will help foster the use of Data to generate insights at company level

★ You will take part in the transition from a monolithic architecture to an approach combining Kafka with microservices on the cloud

To succeed in your mission, you will be helped by an efficient, experienced and caring Data team!

Our technical stack:

★ Languages: Python, Scala, Typescript

★ Encapsulation technology: Docker, Kubernetes

★ BigData tools: Spark, Elastic Map Reduce

★ Data pipeline: Glue

★ Real time or streaming: Kafka

★ Cloud: AWS, Redshift

★ Database: MongoDB, Maria DB, PostgreSQL

★ CI / CD: Gitlab

? Your background

★ You’re attending a top IT school with a Data Engineer specialization

Or you’re attending a Data Engineer master

★ You’ve performed at least 1 internship / apprenticeship in Data Engineering

? Your Hard Skills

★ Good knowledge on Scala, SQL & AWS

★ Basic knowledge of Docker, Gitlab, MongoDB, Glue, Python & Elastic Map Reduce would help

★ Ideally experience with large volumes of Data

★ Your English is really strong, it will be your main professional language

? Your Soft Skills

★ Autonomy and curiosity to develop skills in new technologies

★ You strive for excellence & you are permanently unsatisfied

★ Strong work ethic & daily act with integrity, honesty and fairness
