Your Role & Responsibilities:

You are responsible for

  • Timely processing incoming orders in our ERP system by checking references and validating relevant information
  • Check availability of products and prepare delivery proposal, where needed select proposed alternatives and update order status
  • After Sales Management: crediting/debiting price variances, management of customer complaints and return orders
  • Follow up on daily KPIs within the area of order management/supply chain

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Supply Chain /Business Administration / Logistics Student of at least 2nd year of studies;
  • Data savvy, digital mindset
  • good knowledge of Excel.
  • Great communication skills, eye for details, well organized.
  • Ability to both work effectively in a team and independent
  • High customer service orientation
  • Fluent English written and spoken.

You are a part of:

EMEA’s Order Management team, physically based in Lodz (Poland), but remotely supported from within EMEA. Order Management being an important element within the integrated Supply Chain where any bottleneck has a direct impact on customer experience and revenue for the business. As Order management intern you will be exposed to many Supply Chain and commerce related, aspects which makes it a great learning experience in a dynamic multinational environment.

Understanding how a product floats from a customer order to delivering the order to the customers warehouse provides valuable insights on topics such as product portfolio, pricing, master data, inventory management and many more. A customer centric mindset is key in this role as you will cooperate closely with internal and external customers and provide information about order confirmation, goods availability, and promotions. General support to internal sales team regarding all aspects of order management process is also part of the assignment.

Students from outside the EU need to fill in an NUFFIC agreement, which needs to be signed by the student and the university. Please note that the contents of our regular internship assignments are not suitable for professionals (and/or MBA students) with professional work experience.
