Barnet Council is launching a brand new recruitment service and we are growing our team, therefore come and be part of something special.

About The Role

We have two roles, a permanent vacancy and a 18 months fixed-term opportunity ending July 2024 in the Recruitment Team.

The role will include high volume recruitment, responsibility for managing new vacancies, training for new starters, providing training for hiring Managers. Including the uploading of jobs, tracking ad performance, arranging interviews, coordinating feedback, and ensuring hiring managers are up to date with candidate progression.

Work in partnership with the Resourcing Consultant to ensure hiring managers gain a great experience throughout their hiring journey.

Note: that our expectation of that the role is mostly remote from home but there may be a requirement to attend the office once per week to undertake some work duties.

About You

You will have a good working knowledge of HR recruitment best practices with previous recruitment experience in public or private sector.

You understand the importance of excellent customer care and communication skills within recruitment and have used a range of recruitment digital and software solutions including Application Tracking Systems.

You are able to work independently and under pressure, planning work appropriately to ensure meet deadlines. Experienced in communicating clearly and with confidence to hiring managers and candidates, including complex or difficult subjects.
